The Making of The Triune Legacy

There is a great deal of history involved in the making of this game and once all the puzzle pieces fell into place, the rest was, well, history. In the beginning there were three puzzle pieces. Aaron wrote and researched. Seb illustrated and painted. Jan designed and programmed. All three are highly creative people, highly motivated. And all three of them game.

Aaron’s been running role playing games since he was a kid. His grandmother bought him a copy of Palladium’s TMNT and Other Strangeness, not really knowing what it was. He didn’t, either, but he figured it out. He started running games about a year after that, invented his own system years later after getting tired of arguing over the rules of others. He didn’t think much of it, but he’s been using that system – the system presented in the Core Book – for more than fifteen years.

Seb and Aaron met way back in the dawn of the new millenium; acquainted through a mutual friend, the two became fast friends themselves. Aaron wrote some books. Seb did the covers. Seb did some portraits. Aaron gave her some poetry. They went hiking and sparring and discussed philosophy and cosmology and watched a lot of bad movies and ate a lot of food.

Jan met Seb through some great cosmological synchronicity. Aaron and Seb had inklings and ideas for etching a career out of their creative madness. Jan made those ideas a reality.

We started out by saying that there is a great deal of history here but most of it won’t be found on this page or anywhere on this website. It is written into the fabric of our world, “The Triune Legacy.” And now it falls to you. The source books will keep coming, but it is your turn to write your name on this world.

Aaron Golden, Lead Writer

Aaron Golden
Aaron works day to day to keep himself afloat in the real world of adults, jobs, and concrete, but though he seems bright enough he’s usually distracted by something. This is because, unknown to friends and family, he spends his nights facing down horrors unknown to most men, creatures of legend and myth that the rest of his people deny were ever real in the first place. He also likes to write, eat sushi, and take long walks in the woods. If you think he’s going to explain to you how his soul works, you’ve got another thing coming.

Seb – Artist & Illustrator

Seb
Seb was born in the woodlands and continues to call green places home. In spite of this she enjoys the bustle of cities and the company of others, laughing with maniacal joy at just about everything. With an art degree and a shamanic initiation she walks many worlds and talks to everything. Seb teaches shamanism, walks with gods, angels, and elementals, buries dead things so she can dig up the bones. She sings to plants and places, dances martial arts, laughs at cartoons, sharpens blades, eats just about anything moving and not… and the weather gods have a slight grudge against her. Some call her crazy, but she just has another language for sanity.

Jan Bosman, Designer & Webmaster

Jan Bosman
Jan has dabbled in various job classes that young people often do, from Student to Service, and on to others that he ought not mention here. He walks in two worlds. His work is behind a computer in a sprawling city, often lasting into the witching hours and the gloaming morn. Were he left in the woods with naught but the clothes on his back though, he would return hardier, heavier, and very alive – be it days later, or years. His woodcraft skills are quite noteworthy as in the summer months he is likely to be found in the wilderness, tracking wild wolves, dark shadows and wood nymphs. Keenly aware of the world around him, you would not want to catch this mysterious young man off guard.
